about my studio

I am the photographer and creative heart behind Simply Baby. I am a child of God, wife to my amazingly supportive (and handsome!) husband and I get to be called mom by our four amazing children.

Whether you are expecting your first baby or have just become a mom, I want you to know how excited I am for you to experience this new and wonderful season of life, I really believe it's the best one yet! If you are a seasoned mom celebrating an important milestone, I am equally as excited to capture that for you. I have experienced first hand just how quickly the little years and those precious moments fly by and it has become my passion to document that for others. Believe me when they say that the days are long, but the years are so short.

I have been photographing maternity, newborns, baby milestones and motherhood professionally since my youngest son was a newborn. I have invested in the highest quality of training and education in newborn safety and posing. I am also a Critical Care and NICU Registered Nurse for over 14 years and have cared for the tiniest and most fragile little miracles.

My experience in this profession has given me the training and expertise to always handle precious babies with the utmost safety and care and has taught me about newborn and baby development and therapeutic touch.

This inviting, light and airy space has been a dream for so many years and I am so proud to call it mine and welcome my clients in! My studio is a reflection of what I love most about photography- simplicity, light and neutral colors, subtle and soft textures and fabrics with big open windows that spill in beautiful, sun-kissed light.

There is a cozy seating area for families to relax (and even catch a nap!) during the session as well as snacks and refreshments to keep everyone comfortable. I have Wi-Fi available for any tablets or electronic devices brought along as well as some quiet activities for siblings.
There is a private dressing room for outfit changes and to try on any items in my extensive client wardrobe. I have carefully curated over 60 unique and flattering gowns for women who are pregnant or newly post-partum in sizes 2-24. I also have select wardrobe items for babies, children up to 5T and mens shirts up to size 4X.

My studio contains only the highest heirloom-quality props, a wide array of blankets, wraps, layering pieces, headbands, bonnets, hand-crafted outfits, florals and greenery, baskets, etc. I pride myself in taking the time to customize each session to the likes and preferences of each client to make the session experience unforgettable.
