There is nothing in this world quite like a newborn baby! Capturing your baby's newness, their precious newborn details, how perfectly they fit into your arms and those first family portraits is my absolute passion. The absence of loudness in my work, free from distracting backgrounds and trendy props and poses, allows for the focus to be on your growing family.
My studio is light and airy and simplistic to match my photographic style, it is also spacious and comfortable so that you can feel right at home. I have light refreshments and snacks, a private dressing room, plenty of space to comfortably feed or nurse your baby and WiFi for dads and/or siblings.
I provide a thoughtful and luxurious portrait experience for the busy, sentimental new mom that allows you to focus on the moment rather than the details and stress of planning. The expansive studio wardrobe has so many beautiful options for you to utilize for your session, no need to waste any time trying to find something to wear. On the day of your session you get to show up and let me take care of the rest!

The process begins when you fill out my contact form HERE with some basic info. You will receive a timely response followed by detailed investment information with the option for a phone or in-studio consult. My goal is to provide detailed information on what you can expect throughout the process and answer any questions you have prior to booking, as well as along the way. This complimentary consultation can be done over the phone, FaceTime or in-person at the studio. Coming to my studio allows you to see everything in person including my client wardrobe and props, learn about my safety and infection control policies and allows time for all of your questions. I also get to learn more about you and your vision for your session so that I can better serve you and your family.
CONSULTATION
Once you are ready to book, you will pay the retainer and sign a client agreement to secure your session/due date on my calendar. I provide detailed information along the way to help the process go smoothly and ensure that you feel prepared and excited. You will receive a questionnaire just prior to the session that helps me prepare the studio for the day of based on your preferences. My client wardrobe is available to utilize which eliminates the need for shopping, trying on, returning and unnecessary stress on your end.

Sessions take place at my spacious and private studio where you are invited to come in and relax while the magic happens! My client wardrobe is available to utilize during your session as well as a private dressing room. Everything is prepared in advance for you, there is a cozy sitting area with snacks and refreshments as well as WiFi. Professional on-site hair and makeup is available for an added fee. All sessions are designed so you can just show up and we take care of the rest!
THE SESSION
A sneak peek (or two!) from your session will be shared on my social media pages within two weeks of the session. You are welcome to like, re-post and share them for your family and friends to enjoy! Four weeks after your session, you will receive a downloadable gallery of the fully retouched, beautiful images from your session. Additional images will be available for purchase through my exclusive online shop.

When you receive your final image gallery you will get exclusive access to my online shop to spend your print credit. I work exclusively with professional print labs in order to provide the highest quality products for my clients. I will help you along the way in deciding on what heirloom items would work best for your personal style, home decor and needs. Trust me when I say that you want your memories displayed inside of your home, not just on a hard drive or smart phones!

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
As soon as possible! I take a limited number of due dates per month so I can serve my clients well. Most clients book early in their second trimester.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH MY BABY?
Newborn sessions are in the first 3 weeks of life, however I take into consideration any special circumstances or needs such as a NICU stay, prolonged recovery, circumcision, etc. It is best to stagger the newborn session and circumcision a week apart if possible. I can accommodate newborn sessions for babies up to 6 weeks with some modifications. Newborn sessions are typically on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at my studio.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A NEWBORN SESSION?
Newborn Collections of digital images + print credit begin at $525. Please contact me for detailed investment information or to schedule a consult where I can go over the client investment and answer any questions you may have!
DO YOU SELL JUST THE DIGITAL IMAGES?
All of my Collections include a number of digital images and a print credit. While I know we live in a digital age, it is my job to show you what archival, heirloom prints and unique artwork looks and feels like when you come into my studio so that after the session you have a better idea of how you may want to spend your print credit.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS ON BOOKING MULTIPLE SESSIONS?
YES! Sessions can be done individually or I offer a 'Baby's First Year Collective' which offers a huge discount and is perfect for clients looking to book more than just a newborn session. It includes four sessions in an 18 month period and is the perfect way to capture that first year that goes by in the blink of an eye!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Absolutely! I realize that a luxury portrait experience is a big investment that many clients will budget and save up for. I can assure you that you will never regret an investment that is preserving these memories for your family. Please contact me so we can further discuss a payment plan that fits your needs.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON THE DAY OF THE SESSION?
Newborn sessions take place on weekday mornings in my private studio. You can expect to sit back and relax while I do the newborn portion of the session, utilizing a purposeful baby-led workflow where your baby's safety and comfort is my top priority. There is a spacious sitting area with snacks and refreshments, simple toys and activities for little ones as well as a private bathroom and dressing room. Typical sessions are about 2 hours, I always leave plenty of room for feeding, soothing and snuggling!
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?
Hair and makeup is not included in my Collections. I have an amazing artist who is available to do professional hair and makeup at the studio prior to your session for $150. I strongly encourage all of my clients to add on this service to not only feel pampered and beautiful but also give that extra 'wow' to your final images!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I have curated a wardrobe collection of beautiful, flattering gowns for new moms. You are more than welcome to bring any wardrobe items of your own as well! Wardrobe is the most important part so we work closely together in planning your session and ensuring that you feel confident and beautiful. There is also wardrobe options for dads and siblings that you are more than welcome to use. You will receive a prep-guide prior to the session with favorite shops, personal styling tips and suggestions on colors and prints that I have found photograph best.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SESSION?

Your final downloadable gallery will be delivered via e-mail four weeks after your session along with access to my online shop of fine-art prints and professional products.
